Fitbit Inspire 3 screen black and won't sync

Like so many others, my screen went blank and I cannot get it working.  I have done the following:

 

  • Uninstalled the app
  • Stopped and restarted bluetooth
  • Unpaired the device
  • Hard restarted the Fitbit (at least 30 times now)
  • Restarted my phone.
  • Tried to resync it.

It does finally find the Fitbit with some finagling of my bluetooth but when it gets to the point of putting in the 4-digit code, I still get a blank screen.

Hi, @jody664, and welcome to the community, you may find this video that walks you through the setup process is of interest (which seems to be where you are stuck) note that some stages take longer than you might anticipate.

@Edph, the restart process is a bit complicated see this video for detailed guidance.

I have the same problem too. My fitbit screen is blank. I restarted the device by charging it and pushed the button for about 10 seconds. Still the screen is blank. But I'm able to synch with my iphone. Help pls.

@Gr4ndp4 I tried the hard start already before I post my issue in this community. Unfortunately, it didn't work. But I appreciate so much your help. This is what I like in this community. There is care. Regards.
