Fitbit Sleep Question

Hello,

I have several questions Fitbit Inspire 3:

1) When I log my daily sleep period and select save The numbers are not correct. example. Today I logged 7:20PM to 2:00am for my sleep period and saved. Fitbit shows 7:19PM and 1:39AM. Can these times be corrected?

2) What does awake time refer to? Fitbit shows there were 1 Hr. 35mins. of awake time during this period.

Will someone explain?

Regards, KJeff

Hello @KJeff and welcome to the Community.  Your Inspire 3 tracks sleep automatically.  You just need to wear it to sleep.  It isn't perfect and you might need to edit sleep times, but you shouldn't need to log it.

It is common for adults to wake up for short time periods.  You can also be awake for a short period of time, but you don't remember it.

To help explain time awake, I will share my data from last night.  My app says I slept for 8 h 33 m.  My details say I was awake for 38 m.  My Sleep timeline says I was in bed for 9 h 11 m (you need to do the math)  My time asleep and time awake add up to 9 h 11 m.

My understanding then is that each time I get up to make a bathroom call or
let the cat out or get a drink of water during my sleep cycle, Fitbit
records this as awake time. That's pretty smart. Thanks for your reply.
