Fitbit continuously stops whilst tracking exercise

Hei everyone, i have been experiencing this problem since day one.

I track manually an exercise (workout) at the gym, the Fitbit starts tracking it regularly. After some time on the exercise bike (under 20 minutes) i notice that the Inspire 3 has stopped tracking the exercise and it's back to the watch screen. Then i select again the exercise option but this time the Fitbit crashes, it shows the logo, restarts, and then it's back to the watch screen. After that i can track again.

This happens almost all the times, very frustrating .

Any help here? thanks a lot

@ZenArcade , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

Does the "crash" occur only when trying to record your stationary bike or does it happend with other activities?

Do you have your hands on the bike's handles as you do your training?
What activity do you use to record your bike trainings?

My first thoughts. If you are trying to autorecognize your biking sessions, the exercise app might stop, as it doesn't recognize your movements on the stationary bike. (if you have your hands/wrists on the handles) .
For the crash and restart : have you tried to restart the Inspire 3 by yourself and see if this improves your sessions? How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hei @JuanFitbit thanks for your answer. The crash so far happens only when using the stationary bike. Since i do mixed exercises and i don't want to record different sessions within one visit at the gym, therefore i select "workout" on my Inspire 3 and i start using the stationary bike followed by weight workout and so on. I don't keep my hands on the bike's handles all the times.

@ZenArcade , Thank you for your reply and further information.

Do you feel any vibration before the exercise app returns to the main clock face?

If so, maybe you are pressing the sides of the Inspire 3 unintentionally with the wrist .

Try wearing the tracker a bit looser or higher on the wrist while doing your biking sessions
