Fitbit doesn't even connect for the start

I have a new device and I don't even know which one because I won it at a company incentive. The watch, which I assume is the Inspire 3, can't be connected to any device. It basically just tells me to download the app, which of course I've already done. It's fully charged. But apart from the request to download the app and the Fitbit symbol, nothing happens on the display. No menu, nothing. Only the battery charge is displayed when plugged in and a smiley when switched off or reset for 1o seconds. The device is not displayed in any Bluetooth available here. What should I do with it? Disposing of it would be a bit of a shame. I would have liked to use it.

Thanks in advance for your help. Grit

Hi @GritBp  this area - click to go there - has all the articles for the Inspire 3, including the user manual.

I have the Inspire 3 and there is no smiley on it. When you have it plugged into the charger, what does the app tell you the device is - Inspire 3?

Unfortunately, it doesn't connect with the app. Because it is not found in Bluetooth. Otherwise I think the correct name would also be shown in the Bluetooth display. I just guessed it from the pictures. I would like to connect it to the app for the first time, but that's the problem. It does not work. I have already asked my company about the model and hope to at least get an answer. I'm going to download the app to every available phone in my household, but since it doesn't show the watch even in my MacBook's Bluetooth, that seems to be the problem. I have no way to turn the watch off somehow, I can just press both sensors for 10 seconds and it restarts. Maybe you can tell me how it should normally go on and off? The two "buttons" on the right and left only respond to the 10 second reset otherwise nothing.

It tell "connect to the app"... wich is not working, cause Bluetooth isn't connecting. These operating instructions are a general. And the branding of my company is where the name would possibly appear on the packaging.

Got it. Thanks to the link you shared I found the "error". It's the Inspire 2 and apparently nothing connects if you don't enter the correct model. I've now looked through all the possible models in the app one by one and the Inspire 2 has come to life! Thanks for your help! Have a nice weekend!
