Force Fitbit to begin tracking sleep at desired time

ANSWERED

IMG_2472.jpeg

Hi I sit in my recliner before bed watching tv for 3.5+ hours before going to bed at 11:30 pm. Unfortunately my Inspire 3 adds these pre-bed hours in my Sleep Timeline. I find this annoying.

Is there any way to force my Fitbit to begin tracking my sleep at 11:30 pm?

@scottr99   Fitbits use a combination of lack of wrist movement and other physiologic parameters to estimate sleep.  Real sleep is an EEG diagnosis.  You can't force your Fitbit to start at 11:30 AND get sleep stages.  There is a feature in the app where you tap on the green "+" button, then Start sleep.  You end it in the app when you wake up.  This will ALWAYS give sleep patterns.  If you want sleep stages, then you will need to edit your sleep times.

Hi there and thank you for your message!

Unfortunately, Step 2 is missing in my Fitbit app. There is no 3 dots icon (Edit Sleep) once I open Sleep duration.
