GPS tracking doesn't work by itself? Inspire 3

The watch says it has its own GPS, however, when I run with my watch but not my phone, it doesn't track the route at all, and results in tiny maps like this

is there a way to get Fitbit to track it without relying on my phone? When I start a running activity, it says GPS connected, so I don't know why it doesn't show my route!

Thank you!

Hi, @Sooshpoosh, welcome to the community. Your Inspire 3 does not have a GPS chip onboard. GPS tracking is carried out via the GPS on your phone, which must be within Bluetooth range of the Inspire 3. You may find this article of interest How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center .

I hope this helps.

Cheers
