Why doesn't resting HR graph show HR peaks that show on the exercise HR graph for same day/time?

Hello @TCB1 and welcome to the Community.  Your daily heart rate graph gives you a heart rate that is averaged over five minutes.  An exercise heart rate graph (or a sleeping heart rate graph, for Premium users) gives you a heart rate that is averaged over one minute.  The peaks and valleys get smoothed out in the daily heart rate graph.
