Just moved from Charge 5 to Inspire 3. How do I get the Inspire to display my heart rate while I am exercising? I need to keep my heart rate below a threshold value, so on my Charge 5 I could check my heart rate every few minutes and slow down if it was getting too high. However, the Inspire detects that I am exercising and switches to a Pace screen that shows how long I have been jogging; there is no obvious way to get my heart rate without choosing to stop the exercise tracking, which requires several presses on the Fitbit screen. I have tried to shut off exercise detection but that does no good. I need to pull out my cell phone and I can find my HR in the Fitbit app, but that is far less convenient than just glancing on my wrist.
I have read other comments about people having trouble getting their heart rate in the app after exercise is done. However, what I want to do is find my heart rate in the moment to control it. Can anybody help?
