I’m fairly new to the Fitbit party and have had mine for about a month. Everything was great and I’m loving tracking my progress and working out a lot more than I used to because I’m competitive like that and want to hit my targets.
about a week ago I got struck down with a stomach flu and did barely anything for two days, which obviously affected my ‘past 7 days training’ deal which is fair. However for the past three days I’ve consistently been in the upper range of my target load (and I’m back to actively working those points to make it there!) however the bar barely moves for past 7 days training. I’ll nudge it over into the ‘maintaining’ by the end of every day, but it’ll reset right back to ‘undertraining’ the next morning. The target load is definitely not low for me, but it’s discouraging that I can’t seem to make that needle move.
conversely, a couple weeks ago I kept exceeding a slightly more moderate target for about 6 days in a row just minding my own normal day and it was consistently telling me I was at risk of overtraining, but I literally could not be less active and still go to work and get dinner on the table.
it feels weirdly too extreme either way
