Horizontal lines of doom

Sounds like I'm not the only one here....

Inspire 3, purchased a little over 5 months ago.  Yesterday it developed blue-green horizontal lines.  I've tried every possible combination of pressing the buttons, on and off the charger.  Device is fully charged.  Often, it buzzes when buttons are pressed.  Occaisionally, I've gotten different colors of lines (e.g., red) or configurations of lines.  A couple of times I even got squares.  But the screen is not responsive, so I can't get to settings, etc., on the device.  I looked through this forum and saw that some people fixed the problem by doing a clock face update.  I tried that (multiple times), but it did not work for me.  The tracker itself seems to be working: I wore it overnight and got very plausible data.  So it appears to be a touch screen issue.  Any suggestions?

The Inspire 3 has a 1-year Factory warranty, so call Customer Service and get them to initiate a return and replacement of your device on a Return Material Authorization (RMA).

You will probably have to suffer through a few of their scripted troubleshooting attempts before they will do that, so save yourself some time and just ask them to jump straight to the Factory Reset step to see if that resolves the problem.

If a Factory Reset doesn't resolve the problem, nothing will.

Thanks for the advice.  About 12 hours after I first noticed this problem, it seems to have fixed itself.  Everything is working normally now.  It doesn't make any sense. It's been working fine for nearly 12 hours now.  I did a reset, changed the clock face a couple of times, and wore it while I mowed grass and went on a run.  It's like it never had a problem at all.  (Oddly enough, it started working soon after I started looking for my receipt in case I needed it to prove when I bought it so I could call customer service to do what you suggested.)
