Hourly activity not syncing to the app

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Fitbit and just recently bought my Inspire 3. I've run into an issue today, where my hours of activity are not syncing to the app. My set hours are 11am-7pm, seven days a week. For today, my Inspire 3 says 6 of 8 hours with 250+ steps, while the Fitbit app only shows 5 of 8. The only way to seemingly get that hour back is to change the interval from 11am to 10am, which makes my tracker show 6 of 9 active hours so far. My overall step count, however, is accurate on both my smartphone and the tracker itself, so it's an obvious glitch. I've already tried unpairing and again pairing the tracker to my phone, as well as uninstalling and re-installing the Fitbit app. Is there a fix for this at all? Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for providing the details regarding the inconvenience with Inspire 3, and the attempts to fix it.

I'd suggest you perform these troubleshooting steps on the app:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the hours of activity are available now.
