Hourly activity not syncing

Periodically this issue occurs and it’s really frustrating. Again, my inspire 3 is showing hourly activity goal achieved but the app (in an iPhone 12 with up to date iOS) is showing something completely different. I have switched Bluetooth off and on. I have rebooted. I have deleted the app and started again! It’s still not working. The hour switch only fixed today and now this! Any ideas how to fix it?

If you are having an issue where the step count on the Inspire 3 device is not the same as the step count on the phone, after syncing the device to the phone, then that is probably do to issues with the MobileTrack feature that was broken with the last V210.26 device FW update.

You can try clicking the Device icon in the upper left-hand side of the Today screen and removing your phone as a Device in the App to disable Mobile Track to see if that resolves the issue.

Mobile Track is supposed to use your phone's accelerometer to count steps when you aren't wearing your device, but that stopped working properly after the last device FW update.

Thank you. I have tried that but sadly no success. ☹️

Sorry to hear that.  It appears that Google is still on track to break something with every device FW or App SW update then.

It would be great if Google assigned some of their more experienced FW and SW developers to the Inspire 3 project to resolve some of these long standing Inspire 3 performance issues.

I agree. I think it’s getting worse each time. So frustrating. I am very seriously considering moving devices. They can’t even fix the hour changes twice a year!
