I set the Auto-Recognize for my exercise and that creates an Auto-Start just fine.
But I can't find where to Auto-Stop an exercise. I have to manually stop it.
If I forget to manually stop it, it keeps tracking the exercise after I've finished and the results are wrong.
Best AnswerYeah agreed, it's a problem for me too, that I can't solve.
They introduced this Auto-Recognize feature in the Fitbit app, and along with the latest firmware update on the Inspire 3 device, I am now required to manually STOP my exercise.
If I forget, and don't do that, my one hour bike ride turns into a 6 hour bike ride.
I tried unselecting all Auto-Recognize exercises in the app itself, and then ensuring that Auto-Start and Auto-Stop was selected on the Inspire 3 device, but it will simply not Auto-Stop.
I don't know what to do to solve this problem. I also don't understand why more people aren't complaining about it?
The problem is that I still would like the app to track my exercise as it used to be, but not one the Inspire 3! Now even during a small walk the clock starts tracking the exercise and I have to manually stop it. Plus continuous vibrations that annoys me. An auto stop would be beneficial
Best AnswerI opened a case on Fitbit on Twitter about this. I just found that in the smartwatch itself for some activities as "walking" there is now a recognition set-up as well that is enabled by default. I am giving a try to see if it fixes the issue right now.
I'm afraid their Auto-Recognize in the Fitbit app (that they call Smart Track) simply makes the matter worse. I couldn't walk to my shed without it registering walks. I disabled all the Auto-Recognize.
