How do I turn off goal notifications?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have an issue with not being able to turn on the buzzing (notification) features on my new Inspire 3.

I have followed older threads and turned off all notifications for all settings available. However the product still buzzes on reaching daily goals or achieving milestones. No other buzzings seem to happen though.

Any ideas on where the issue might be or what I am missing?

Thanks

Hi there, @janputtfarken. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, would you mind clarifying if you're trying to turn on or off the goal notifications on your Inspire 3? I'm a little confused.

In the meantime, please see How do I track my health and fitness goals with Fitbit? and Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones and/or Why are notifications delayed or missing? depending on your phone.

Hi @MarreFitbit !

Thanks for the response.

I am trying to turn the notifications off. All notifications (as far as I can tell) are already turned off, but I still receive the vibration notifications.

Any ideas?

@janputtfarken Thanks for getting back and clarifying your post.

Please note that if you're referring to the goal notifications, they cannot be turned off. My advice is to set your goal to a higher amount to avoid reaching out too soon. The steps on how to edit/change your goals, are in the help article I've shared with you above.

Hi @MarreFitbit ! Thanks for the advice. I played around a little and set goals to higher amounts.

However I still get a notification at 10.000 steps, even if my goal is higher? Any ideas?

In general I think this should be something that can be turned off.

Hi @MarreFitbit ! Not sure if my other response reached you.

I have set the goals to higher amounts, as to not receive so many notifications. However I still receive a "10.000" steps notification, although the goal is much higher?

Any ideas?
