How do you dismiss a snoozed alarm?

On the Inspire 3, when a silent alarm goes off, pressing the button snoozes the alarm. Once the alarm has been snoozed, how can it be dismissed so that it does not go off again? I would prefer to not have to wait 9 minutes for the alarm to come up again so it can be dismissed.
