Inaccurate calories and heart beat count

I am a 66 year old female. I got up in the morning, have some water, and coffee, read some news. One hour later, my inspire 3 told me I burnt over 300 calories. I don't think that is right.

While doing 10 minutes on-the-spot-super-slow-run, inspire 3 tole ma my heart rate reached 182. How is it possible?  I am not at all short of breath. I don't have heart problems. On the treadmill, I can only manage to 150 and I am out of breath.

Something is not right. Can I return this watch?

Hi, @MRgoldfish, welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? You will see an explanation of BMR and how calorie burn is calculated. I wear two devices, one Inspire 3 and another device, both produce very similar calorie data.

How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device? provides guidance and advice on HR including how to make it more accurate and what factors can affect HR.

I hope this is helpful.

Cheers
