Impossible to configure my Inspire 3 on my fitbit app

Hello, 

It's been now weeks that I'm trying to connect my inspire 3 on my phone Samsung Galaxy S22. I've tryed all the steps described here : https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1872.html but despite this the configuration process always fails.

After entering the pin code on the app, the app seems to load during 5-10 minutes, and then a message informs me that there was a mistake. 

I got this watch some weeks ago, it hasn't worked more than it has worked...

The Inspire 3 will not appear on the Bluetooth settings, as mostly all connections with the tracker are managed with the Fitbit app. 

As you have access to another mobile device where you can install the Fitbit app

Install the Fitbit app on the alternate device and sign in.

Turn off the original phone's Bluetooth.

Try the setup with the alternative phone.

When the Inspire 3 has been set up.

Turn off the alternate phone's Bluetooth and try to sync the tracker with the original phone.

Hi, @GuillaumeQr, welcome to the community, you may find this video useful. If you get a "cancel" tile when you get the error message touch that & wait for a few moments. In my experience, the error message is sometimes a stuck loop, and canceling lets it move on to the next step.

Thanks for you message. Unfortunately, the only message I get after waiting several minutes is : "Erreur, réessayez" in french (Error, retry). I don't get any messages that looks like your description...

Have you tried using another mobile device (eg. borrowed, old device, etc) to setup the Inspire 3 with your account?

 

In the meantime, please try the following steps, some of which you have already done, but the order is important:

 

  1. Restart  your Inspire 3.
  2. Please on mobile device, go to Settings>Bluetooth, and remove all connections that exist with the tracker. (Forget, ignore or unpair device depending on the phone OS version)
  3. Turn off Bluetooth and restart your phone. (switch off and on again).
  4. When the phone is back on, turn on the Bluetooth again, but DO NOT attempt to connect to the tracker from here.
  5. Go on the app. From here, try setting up the tracker as a new device.

Actually this problem appeared when I changed phone : I set up my watch on a Honor 10, my old phone, and I changed phone quickly after but impossible to establish a connexion with this new phone.

As I have never managed to pair the device with my Samnsung S22, it doesn't appear in my pairing devices list in the bluetooth settings. I've followed your steps carefully but unfortunately nothing has changed. I still go to the point where I have to write the four digits displayed on the screen of the watch, but then it can't connect.
