After this last update, my cardioload score after working out at the gym for an hour was a 1, when the exact same workout is usually logged in the 30’s. I’ve also noticed that it has automatically started registering my treadmill workout as a walk when it’s never done that before - wondering if this is related? How do I turn the automatic exercise use detection off so this doesn’t happen?

Hi, @Malexmom , welcome to the community. The settings you are looking for are on the Fitbit app on your phone. From the "Today" screen>Touch your icon in the top right corner>Fitbit Settings>activities>Auto-track activities> For each of the displayed activities, you can turn it off by placing the slider into the "off" position. Alternatively, you can set the minimum duration after which it will automatically record your exercise. If a treadmill has been recorded as a walk, the Cardio Load data is not correct; your efforts have been downgraded. You can edit the resulting "exercise" tile (in the exercise days tile) by touching the "walk"& then the pen icon at the top. I frequently get swimming mis-recorded, and I follow this advice How to add, edit, or delete Fitbit data & activities - Android - Fitbit Help Center
A word of caution here, while the Cardio Load is corrected, I find the Exercise tile under the Exercise Day tile mentioned above does not change, which is a bit irritating.
You may find it simpler to just start your exercise on your Inspire 3, swipe left or right from the clock face on your Inspire 3 to "Exercise" then up to "Treadmill", here you can swipe up & adjust settings, start, pause & end your exercise. It'll be worth trying to see if you get a more consistent record as I do.
I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers
