Incorrect Running distance and pace

Hello, my Inspire 3 does not seem to showing accurate running paces (time per kilometre) or running distances when I go on runs. I took my phone with me on my run recently to compare my Strava running app with my Inspire 3 data and there was a huge 2km difference (in a 5km run) in distance and difference in 1.5 minute per km pace. The Inspire 3 is overestimating the distance. Long story short - how can I get my Inspire 3 to be more accurate?

Inspire watches don't have built in GPS, so it estimates distance from the number of steps taken.

You can try changing your stride length. Go to the Today tab, click your profile icon, go to Fitbit Settings > Activity & Wellness > Exercise > Stride Length. You can input your custom stride length for both walking and running.

If you would like it to be extra accurate, you can turn on GPS on your phone. Your Fitbit can use your phone's GPS to record where you went and your pace and distance. This feature works for walking, running, hiking, and biking.
