Inspire 2 vs Inspire 3

My Fitbit alta hr just died. I'm currently trying to decide between an inspire 2 or 3. I don't need anything fancy, just want it to mainly track steps and heart rate. Thoughts?

Hello @demein and welcome to the Community.  I have some experience with the Inspire 2 and it seemed like a very cranky device.  It was easy to do unwanted navigation, because the buttons and screen seemed to be very sensitive.  I've seen, but haven't used an Inspire 3.  The Inspire 3 has a color screen -- I have a Luxe with a color screen.  Fitbit's color screens are much easier to read in sunlight.

Fitbit discontinued the Inspire 2 when it released the Inspire 3.  You must buy a Fitbit from an Authorized Retailer to get Fitbit's warranty.  Be very careful if you buy from Amazon.  Amazon is an authorized retailer, but is a marketplace.  An item must be shipped and sold by Amazon to get Fitbit's warranty.

@demein I've used both the Inspire 2 and the Inspire 3. They are both good devices, but I would go with the Inspire 3 because the Inspire 2 was discontinued so long ago. Inspire 3 has a color display that is much easier to read outdoors. It has a lot more health tracking features that you might find interesting.

Dick's Sporting Goods has a really good price on the Inspire 3 right now: Click here I don't know how long that sale will last, but that's a good deal and they're an authorized retailer.
