I am working to certify the Fitbit Inspire 3 for space flight aboard the International Space Station. I need information about the battery and if it has UL Certification.

Hello @zacl and welcome to the Community.  That kind of information is very hard to find.  Fitbit doesn't list the brand of any of the components or sensors.  I'm confident that Support won't be able to help you.  Some third party sites have done tear downs on many brands of fitness trackers.  I don't see one for an Inspire 3.  It's very new.

I have a thought.  My family and I have years and years of experience with fitness trackers and DoD security clearances.  There are wi-fi and storage issues.  The DoD keeps a list of allowable devices.  Is there a list of approved devices for the ISS?  It might be a whole lot easier to buy an approved device than to try and get your Inspire 3 approved.  Or you can buy another Inspire 3 and tear it apart just to get the battery model and then see if it is UL approved.  You're going to the ISS!  How cool is that?
