Inspire 3 Firmware Update 194.61

7/13 Update: We’re continuing to roll out this firmware for the Inspire 3 Firmware Update 194.61, and expect more customers are able to update their devices. This is a progressive rollout and all customers can expect to have it within a few weeks. We release updates in phases so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed. If you don't see the option to update, don't worry - you'll have it soon!

We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 194.61 for Inspire 3 will be available soon! Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!

We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.

*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

WHAT’S NEW AND FIXED

• All exercise modes are now available in the Exercise app, and your most recently used modes appear at the top. For more information, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
• Find new clock faces in the Fitbit Gallery in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
• View your daily readiness score on your tracker (Premium feature only). For more information, see What’s my daily readiness score in the Fitbit app?
• Support for global characters and right-to-left text notifications:
  Arabic
  Hebrew
  Thai
  Hindi
  Vietnamese
• This release includes bug fixes and improvements.

I got the new updated and the watch faces are not even cool or interesting the update is kinda lame

That’s good to hear at least you have the update. Still waiting for mine. Sad and disappointed to hear about the watch faces. All 4 are bad?

I spoke to the support today and the rollout has happened hardly to 10% users. So expect the update to take at least 2 more weeks before it hits our device.

My premium stopped working last night.  Not sure if there was update.  Premium renewed July 5th.

Excited to get this update. Nothing yet. It's July 22. I would want better functionality while travelling in a vehicle(car/bike). Elevated heart rates specially if journey is long even if I'm sitting comfortably.

Are the last three numbers the firmware number the firmware my Fitbit is running? Cause I bought my inspire 3 on 7/7/2023 and it's on 63.20001.188.58 according to the device info on the Fitbit. So am I on version 188.58 or do I have the update?

@LizzyFitbit Any ETA on when the update would roll out? I think a lot of us are waiting on it would be great if we can get a better timeline than few weeks 🙂

I’ve just been on phone with helper but tracker will not update. I just keep getting an X try again sign on the Inspire 3 

Yes I got a banner saying an update was available but was able to get any!

Ok. So, what’s really going on with the Inspire 3 firmware update rollout? We the the paying Fitbit and Google customers deserve to know. It’s been over a month. I as well as I suspect many, many others have  received no update.

I've  decided it's less aggravating to just forget about it.  Nothing we can do or say here is going to make a difference. It will get here when it gets here.  It is disappointing that it was announced without a clear timeline for the rollout.  That's created quite a bit of frustration.

I have just ordered an Inspire 3 because of Charge 5 problems (bricked) with the firmware update.

Hopefully the Inspire 3 will not have such issues.

Most likely, all Inspire 3 Firmware Update rollout to 194.61 have been stopped. (Just my opinion)

Look at the huge mess that 194.61 has created for the Charge 5

Yep it bricked my Charge 5. I'm searching for a different model thats why I'm here looking for issues with other models before I choose.
