Inspire 3 Firmware Update 194.61

7/13 Update: We’re continuing to roll out this firmware for the Inspire 3 Firmware Update 194.61, and expect more customers are able to update their devices. This is a progressive rollout and all customers can expect to have it within a few weeks. We release updates in phases so that we can monitor performance closely and make adjustments if needed. If you don't see the option to update, don't worry - you'll have it soon!


We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 194.61 for Inspire 3 will be available soon! Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!

We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.

*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Please be patient and wait until you see the update banner inside of the Fitbit app to begin the firmware download.

I just think we should forget about it. If an update takes more than 2 months well as and well don’t announce. If anything it kills the excitement and by the time it hits your device if it does this year most won’t even care and have forgotten of what it adds.

Mine is still on 188.58. Located in germany, Premium payer for years. No alert in the app whatsoever. Normal?

Same here, I am also in Germany and I was on 188.58 when my Charge 5 died suddenly. There is nothing you can do, sorry.

I think my Fitbit was slated to receive it last night (11 Sept 2023). When I woke up it was flashing the Fitbit logo at me, and it won't do anything else. It disconnected from my iPhone, and I tried charging it on my laptop, forced resetting it, and nothing has restored my Fitbit. Any tips on getting it to work again?

I haven't and frankly, I don't care anymore as well. If a company needs more than 2 months to roll out an update, you can justify whatever way you need to ensure stability it just doesn't fly (don't even want to touch the charge 5 fiasco). Imagine this google spoke about these features with their feature drop. Next month we will get the next feature drop and yet no update that's how delayed this feature is. This is my first fitbit device so not sure if this is an exception or a general timeline for fitbit. Either ways it has ensured they have killed the excitement and the buzz around the update.

OMG - this firmware issue is NOT the way you build customer loyalty.  I had a Flex2 and finally the Inspire3 comes out and I've got a reasonable replacement after several years.  BUTTT...this screen issue is absolutely MADENNING!  If, in fact, updating the firmware is going to fix this constantly annoying swiping issue.

Perhaps the craziest thing is that this is a NEW Inspire3.  During set up it prompted me to update the firmware, but the version it updated to isn't this current one, it's 188.58.  WTH FitBit???

Is there any update on the progress/timeline of this release?

It's over 3-months since roll-out began and I'm still stuck on 188.58.

I tried checking with their customer support but the response was it will be rolled out slowly. They had no clue on the ETA so my 2 cents forget about the update. We would be lucky if we get it before end of the year!

Please give me the old app back. I don’t get or like what this new app is. It looks like a wireframe and unfinished. No visual hierarchy. Not at all designed for my iPad. Words don’t even fit. Ivy League green is the only color? Why? Is this supposed to represent health? It’s death. It’s a wireframe. Not engaging at all. Not enjoyable. It looks like you built this in Word. I have no need to use this app ever again.

I was on a 1,065 day 10K streak until my Inspire 2 was automatically updated with the new app 3 days ago. My streak disappeared along with it. How can it be restored?

How do I change my home screen from sleep to exercise

iPhone user,  I clicked on the pencil icon top right corner.  Under Choose Focus, scroll right through the options and select the one you want.  It will put a checkmark in top right corner.click save at top right of screen.  Hope that works for you too.

Hate it. Too much scrolling to get to where I want to be. Won't synch. Says it needs access to location, but it's already turned on.

J'ai rechargé mon Fitbit hier aujourd'hui de nouveau le message il est seulement à 10%. Avant je pouvais voir le % lors de la synchronisation sur mon smartphone maintenant plus rien n'apparaît. Ok sur ma Fitbit

I do not like the latest update! I also hate that you cannot see your battery percentage on the app! I just went for a long walk only to find out that my Fitbit battery was dead! That’s very annoying! Bring back the battery percentage on the app!

This update is really frustrating and a major step backwards in seeing your data clearly. Where is battery life disappeared to ? And why does my Fitbit now regularly fail to record my sleep, telling me I’ve been awake all night when clearly I haven’t. Major fail on Fitbit’s part which requires immediate fixing.

since google has something to say everything is going down at fitbit. if they wouldnt have the best sleeptracking after apple, i would be gone a year ago.
my pixelwatch fell apart after 2 months, the customer service was non existent. everything we see here is the difference between google and apple. google never ever brings something to a good end...
