Inspire 3 - No syncing

The inspire 3 fitbit is useless as is does not sync data to the phone nor does find phone function work. For the last several weeks the fitbit has only synced to the phone a few times. I have followed all recommended action in the community forum and still it does not work but I have seen others have the same issue. Stay away from fitbit!!!

Inspire 3 on iPhone iOS 7.4.1 doesn’t sync anymore, no more scores or data but steps show ok. I have removed device, hard reset device updated Fitbit app, still no joy

My inspire 3 is not syncing.  I’ve done all the stuff recommended in the forums here.  What is going on with the inspire 3 and how do I get this fixed?

Could you please describe what you already tried, so that I don't ask you to do it again if not necessary?

In the meantime I recommend you to have a look at this, if you haven't done so yet. Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I have the same issue. Have only had the inspire 3 for 8 months and since 4 days ago WILL NOT SYNC. For whoever wants to offer a solution i have already:

1. Turned bluetooth off and on on my phone

2 Restarted the app/hard force stopped the app/ deleted and reloaded the app

3. Restarted the fitbit device multiple times in conjunction with fiddling with Bluetooth on my phone

4. Made sure the fitbit was fully charged when trying to sync

5. Turned my phone completely off for a few minutes and turned back on

6. Done EVERYTHING that ANYONE has suggested on this forum and on the wider web to get it to work and it just doesn't.

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED. BTW, I have the latest firmware version on my device and the latest version of the app for android.

This did not help at all if that was your thought. Everyone who has writing here has indicated they have already tried all the suggested fixes. Turing off Bluetooth & restarting it. Restarting the Fitbit Inspire 3 & attempting to reconnect to Bluetooth & app.  Reloading Fitbit app on my mobile to ensure most up to dat version. None of it works. I am able to change my Fitbit watch face so it is connecting to the app…. It is just not syncing the data from the Fitbit to the app. And yes, I have migrated to Google as well. Looks like they are just trying to kill off this device so we purchase the more advance smart watches that cost quadruple the price and need charging every 18hrs. Like what is with that???  You know they have batteries that last longer than 15min

Same here. Rather looking like they are trying to kill off the product or someone made a MASSIVE coding mistake in an update. I can change my watch face so it is connecting to the app but it won’t sync my data which makes it rather useless which is sad as the Inspire was a great option

@eme733 @sldodge , Thank you for your replies and confirmation. 

If you are using an Android device, go to setting> Apps >Fitbit App and clear the cache. 
On iOS devices, force close the Fitbit app. Tap on the multitasking button and swipe the app either up or to the left. 

On both systems (Android & iOS) turn the phone off and on again. 

Open the Fitbit app. Try to sync the devices by swiping down the Dashboard in the app. 
If you are still having difficulties let me know.
