Hi, @CPFB , sometimes when a Fitbit battery has been allowed to discharge completely, and especially if it is in a discharged state for a significant period of time (months) it becomes unresponsive. In that case it may actually be charging even though it does not seem to be.
I would recommend connecting it to a charging plug and outlet known to be working. Make sure the Inspire 3 is tightly connected (I need to prop mine so that it isn’t dangling to make sure the cable doesn’t come loose). Give it a couple of hours charge even if it doesn’t appear to be charging.
When it has had a couple of hours on the charger, try the restart procedure. (You may need to try it a couple of times.). With luck it will spring back into life and be working again.
You also may want to have a look at the help article “Why isn’t my Fitbit battery charging”
Good luck and welcome to the Community Forums! Let us know how it goes.

Hi @CPFB! Welcome to our community forums!
I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is not charging.
When you stop using a device for a while, it's important to check that the charging pins are clean, as they can accumulate dust particles. The link below provides steps for cleaning your watch and charging cable: How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Once you've cleaned it, try restarting it even if it doesn't respond, and charge it for at least 30 minutes to see if charging starts and it reacts. If you usually charge it connected to a computer, try charging it connected to a wall adapter; make sure it's UL certified.
