Hi, with my old Inspire HR I could replace types of exercise I rarely do, like cycling, with stuff I do a lot, like Pilates and yoga. Has the new Inspire gone backwards? As it doesn't seem possible to change any of the set activities 😢 Or can you tell me a way? Thanks

Hello @BabelHels and welcome to the Community. I think you are confusing the auto recognized activities with the Exercise shortcuts. Please tap on your devices icon/battery charge in the upper left of your mobile app, then your Inspire 3 tile. Tap on Exercise shortcuts, then edit them just like you did on your Inspire 2. You must use the Exercise app on the Inspire 3 to track things like Pilates and Yoga. The auto recognized activities are all high movement activities.

Why can we not get accurate information on our activities if we do not start the activity on our watch? I used to be able to log an activity afterwards and still get heart rate and distance. This is not longer available. By the way, if it makes a difference, I’m in Canada.
I also dislike that if I do start an activity from my watch, I cannot see the time, on,y my exercise progress.

@LindaMarieL Your issue about logging afterwards seems to be a consequence of the updated app. But there one thing I want to point out. You should log activity afterwards only if you weren't wearing your Fitbit at the time. That feature overwrites your calorie burn data with an average calorie burn from a huge database. I don't wear an Inspire 3, but every Fitbit I've used has a number of real time stats as the middle stat. The current time is one of the middle stats. You either tap or swipe on the screen (not sure which) to scroll through the middle stats.

I’ve tried swiping up, swiping down, pushing the sides and time does not come up when it is tracking exercise. Plus, I have to wear reading glasses to see the small print and I don’t exercise with my reading glasses on.
In regards to logging, I am not concerned about my calorie burn. We all know that calorie burn is notoriously inaccurate on any device and app. I want/need to be able to log my activity because frankly, I don’t always remember to set my watch. I’m with a group of friends and I start curling or golfing, I don’t stop to make sure I’m tracking on my watch. I also tend to forget to turn the activity off on my watch when I am finished. This capability used to be available and I don’t understand why it cannot be provided.
I am seriously looking for another brand now because I really dislike all the changes that have been made.
