Inspire 3 buttons stopped working

The side buttons on my inspire 3 no longer seem to be working. I’ve restarted it twice, once using the restart button on the Fitbit and once pressing down for 10seconds on the ‘side buttons’ whilst charging as suggested when I googled the problem. Any other suggestions? I have to tap the screen a few times to see notifications.
