Hello. I've been a Fitbit owner for the past five-six years, so I know how to use and read the app. I had the Fitbit One, and when that died, I got the Fitbit Inspire 3. I was doing fine with it - it seemed to accurately record sleep, heart rate, naps, walks, etc. But since the new app was introduced, my naps are no longer recorded, my heart rate isn't accurate at times, and my number of steps is recording more than I have taken. What did Fitbit do that made my Inspire not act appropriately?? How did changing the app affect my Inspire 3 like this? I'm pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with the app and my Fitbit right now. Please, Fitbit, go back to how it used to be, stop messing with what already worked really well, and restore my Fitbit so that it works properly again.

I’ve had similar problems. This morning the app will just refuse to recognize the device even though in the device settings it says connected.

Having said that after much trial and error it has just synced..
All I needed to do was restart the inspire 3 a few times, delete the app from my smart phone and then when wait for ½ an hour trying different things and then it works.

I am having the same problem with my Charge 2. I have been successfully recording my sleep for the last three years or longer, but since the last update with the UI changes the Charge 2 has failed to properly record my sleep. Merely going to the bathroom in the middle of the night is enough to destroy the entire record. The only thing I do with my Charge 2 is use it to record my sleep patterns. What use is it to me if it has stopped working?

I’ve had the EXACT same problem with my Inspire 3. I too have had previous Inspire models and everything that worked so well before (sleep, activity etc) is suddenly no longer tracking properly. I have tried every troubleshooting suggestion and nothing helps. The latest update has taken something they worked well and turned it into an unreliable piece of crap. Please go back to the drawing board and fix this ASAP.
I wonder if anyone from Fitbit even monitors these forums……

I’ve had no response from Fitbit via the forum. Used the Help and Support Chat feature and agent took me through all the troubleshooting recommendations - all of which I had already done several times prior to reaching out. We reset the Fitbit and it recorded my sleep properly for 1 night only. My weekly exercise hasn’t recorded since the app update. Agent said he would pass on my case to another team. I haven’t heard back and I I’m skeptical as to whether I will. Very frustrating.

Annie: I have seen a lot of action on this thread, but nothing I recognize as a real, honest FitBit person.
