The side buttons of my Inspire 3 are not working. I tried to restart the device but still nothing, the touch screen works fine but when I try the side buttons there is no vibration and no response

Hi there, @Andrea-M. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the buttons on your Inspire 3 stopped working. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If you haven't done so yet, please try placing both forefinger and thumb on each side of face and pressing gently, also make sure to cover the entire buttons with your fingers.

In addition, please confirm that you've restarted your Inspire 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hey @MarreFitbit I restarted the Inspire 3 on the device itself, I can't get it to restart by connecting it to the charging cable and pressing the side buttons. I also tried placing both forefinger and thumb on each side but there was no response

Hi, @Andrea-M welcome, may I suggest you check you have not inadvertently turned off the side buttons? With the Inspire 3 on your wrist swipe down from the clock face to touch "Settings">swipe up to "Button Lock", ensure the slider is in the "Off" position.

Let us know how you get on by posting here again.

Hi, @Andrea-M, thanks for your feedback. Allowing you have restarted your Inspire 3, and have the button lock in the off position I recommend you talk to "Customer Support" work through steps one & two, and then use the Chat or Phone on the Contact Us button. You do not mention how long you've had your Inspire 3, you may still have the benefit of Fitbit's warranty policy depending on where you are when you bought it and from whom.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
