I can be reading a book or doing a jigsaw puzzle and the Fitbit records it as sleeping.

@Tracy927 Independent reviewers always give Fitbit very good to excellent reviews with respect to sleep tracking. But real sleep is measured using an EEG. Fitbit uses a combination of your heart rate, respiratory rate, heart rate variability, and the fact that your wrist isn't moving much to detect sleep. It's very good, but not perfect. I get the same thing from time to time doing exactly what you describe.
