Inspire 3 hasn't recorded sleep or spO2 after second day

I know this question is asked often and frequently, but after trying every fix/hack suggested, it still isn't functioning properly and unfortunately Fitbit doesn't offer direct support. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's really frustrating to purchase a product that only half works.

Scratch that, I did find where I could chat or call with support. Chose the chat option, hoping someone actually pops on at some point.

Hi @LizMc85Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the SpO2 and sleep tracking with your Inspire 3.

Spo2 data is collected from your sleep, so if you don't get sleep data, your SpO2 may be missing too. If you received a sleep log, but it only includes your sleep pattern check the following possible causes:

  • You might have slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • You might have used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app instead of simply wearing your device to bed.
  • Sleep stages require at least 3 hours of sleep. If you slept for less than 3 hours, you won’t receive sleep stages.
  • Your device's battery might be critically low.

For more information about why you got your sleep pattern instead of sleep stages, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern.

I hope these suggestions will be helpful for you!
