Inspire 3 not providing pairing code.

My issue is not quite the same as those I've read on the message boards.

My Inspire 2 stopped syncing. Decided to order an Inspire 3.  Now notice my Inspire 2 syncs when the moon strikes it.  In any case, I'm trying to set up my new Inspire 3. I've fully charged Inspire 3.  I've deleted Insprie 2 from the app.  The app automatically finds Inspire 3. I accept the terms and conditions and all the location requests.  However, I don't get the pairing code on the fitbit screen.  I've followed all the advice on the "try again" screen, and the commentary on this message board.  I've cleared the cache, turend off bluetooth, restarted the phone, restarted the Inspire 3.  Still not luck - it tries for about 10 mins, and give the the "try again" screen.  The only thing I could not do, is check Instprie 3 is not connected to another phone - I don't know how to do that.

I have a Samsung A73 phone.  Software and fitbit app are up to date.

Any further ideas on what I should do??
