The Android app failed to record Sp02 readings and asks me to install an app not compatible with the Inspire 3.
How do I get Sp02 working again or revert to a previous Fitbit app version?

I've had the same problem, looking for a solution as well.

Tap the Device icon in the upper left-hand corner of the Today screen. Then, tap the Inspire icon at the top of the device screen. Next, tap the Gallery icon and then scroll up until you get to SpO2. Finally, tap that to install the SpO2 App.

I've got the same issue but when I go to the gallery it says that sp02 app is already installed

The app now says it was installed as well as listed in the gallery.
I haven't done anything, so maybe it was a glitch. Working now.

Well, now all reading are "no data" except SpO2. Enough of this.
I uninstalled the latest Fitbit app and reinstalled version 4.38 from a backup. Everything works again, including Health Metric Trends. Disabled updates in play store.

I thought the same... said it was installed already (and had previously been working). Tried removing and re-adding the SpO2 app on the watch, didn't seem to make any difference. But I've just realised that it has been collecting the nightly SpO2 data for every night, so I think it is just poor verbiage on the "today" view in the app... there is "No Data" because it's not collected until that night... nothing to do with needing the SpO2 app... duh!
