Why is my fitbit only showing the fitbit symbol on the screen?

Hi, @Chrisud welcome to the community, have you tried restarting your Inspire 3?

How do I restart my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center describes the process. You will find the user manual useful. Do NOT use the factory reset as you will lose any unsaved data.
