My Inspire 3 is way over calculating energy burned. Like right now it is saying I’ve done 6,500 steps and burned over 4,000 calories. There is no way I’ve burned that many calories. What am I missing? I’ve tried everything I could find but no luck. Yes the Inspire 3 is up to date. I wear it as a clip but this also happened when I was wearing it as a watch. I am 5,8” and 199. l am active but do not burn anywhere near that much. I just bought this a couple weeks ago. I have had many fitbits in the past but due to planned obsoletion I switched to an Apple Watch a while back. I just bought a less expensive Fitbit again to be able to compete in challenges with friends as I have missed that. Suggestions?

Check your personal parameters, especially weight, are entered correctly.
Coming from Apple Watch, remember Fitbit included your BMR (basal metabolic weight) calorie burn, which I don't think Apple does.
When wearing it as a clip, make sure you have it set to "clip mode" so it is not still reading (false) heart rate readings and basing calorie burn on that. Or check in Quick Settings that it didn't just accidentally get set wrong, as can happen easily. I don't know what you might get for HR readings if it was not on wrist, but I think it would use them for calculating calorie burn if not set to clip mode.

Update - I found how to switch to clip - it is on the device itself. Thank you. Hopefully this makes a difference.

Thank you for the response.
There is not an option to choose clip on the app, just dominant or non-dominant wrist. I have tried both.
The heart rate is showing 154 bpm right now while I am stationary at my desk. So I think you found the issue, but how to fix it? I don't want to wear it on my wrist & that is why I bought the Inspire instead of a smartwatch. I wear my apple on my left wrist. Two watches together & the buttons hit & things get messed up. It is uncomfortable on my right wrist as I am on my computer for work a lot and using the mouse becomes uncomfortable. Is there a way to stop it from tracking heartrate?

Sorry, guess I should have included how to find 'Settings" and "Quick Settings" in my response above, but apparently you did get this info from customer support. I guess I was assuming you would already be familiar with these on your device.
You might want to take a look at this link for more info on the Inspire 3, including a link to the Inspire 3 user manual.
