Just got the inspire 3 yesterday and it is Recording steps at a record pace (over recording) I am wearing my previous watch (which has been proven accurate for Years) on my other arm to compare and the steps on the inspire3 are more than double!  Not good!!  Help. Is there some where to adjust my stride?  I have longer legs so I’d anything I would think my steps would be less.. need fixed ASAP. Thank you

Accepted Solutions

Stride length has nothing to do with step count.  It is just used to convert step count to distance.

Before worrying about stride length, I would try switching arms in your experiment to verify the higher count is truly because of the Inspire 3 and not because of the arm you are wearing it on.  First narrow down the variables, then look for the solution.
