I have tried everything to get my display to return something other than various bars and no text at all. I have tried multiple times to reset the device and never get the smiley face as stated. Help!

Hi there, @Mkaneko8. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Inspire 3 is still acting odd. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Best AnswerSyncing doesn't work. Restarting doesn't work. Changing the clock face doesn't work. When I see anything at all it is faint and there are all these bars going across the face.
Best AnswerIf you perform a Factory Reset and still don't get a Fitbit logo and a message to download the app, then that device is defective.
Place the device into the charging cradle and press/hold the two side buttons for at least 10 seconds to complete the Factory Reset, but know that doing that will erase the data on the device.
