Slight vibration when button held down while on charger but face is blank and no app connection. It appears to have died.

Mine is doing the same thing. It has 91% battery but the screen is not coming on, It vibrates when I touch it.

Do you see a green light on the back of the device?
If you see the green light on the back is lit, but the screen isn't working, please try the following steps:
1. Sync the device in the Fitbit app.
2. Check for available Firmware updates.
Follow the on-screen instructions: Keep the Fitbit device close to your phone during the update. When the update starts, a progress bar appears on the device and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete.
3. Charge the device:
