my inspire 3 is only 7 months old and it has suddenly stopped working. I noticed last week, it was not alerting me to the notifications I have set up. Then today, the fitbit logo is all the screen shows; it stays solid on the screen for approx 5 seconds, disappears for 1-2 seconds (black screen at that time), then goes back to the logo. It is charged around 77% as of earlier today. Any help for this? Thank you

I tried this, I think, lol. I can't tell if the sides of the tracker are where the "buttons" are. I thought it was going to work, because I felt the tracker vibrate, but after I let go, nothing happened. Thanks for trying to help, tho!

I'd be tempted to try again but not let go, hold the sides until I saw it reboot.
For no longer than a minute... 😂😉

If your Inspire 3 device is still running with version 188 FW and you have an Android phone running with version 4.28 SW, then that's the problem.
The latest 4.28 App SW is incompatible with the 188 Inspire 3 FW for BT pairing and syncing, so it's going to take another App SW update to resolve that issue, which Google is hopefully working on now.

I don't have a clue what version it's running on. But why is it an issue all of a sudden? You'd think if Google was going to take over Fitbit, they'd have their ducks in a row so people don't have their devices stop working of a sudden. 😞

If you performed a Factory Reset on your device, then it was probably running version 188 FW.

Unfortunately, nothing happened even when I attempted to reset it for 30 seconds.

Some displayless Amazon Alexa products will perform a basic Restart of the device after a 10 second push of a recessed button, or a Factory Reset after a 30 second push of the same recessed button.
Unfortunately, the Inspire 3 will only Restart the device no matter how long the two side buttons are pressed and a Factory Reset can only be performed via the display settings menu, which doesn't help at all if there is a display problem.
