I just got a fitbit inspire 3 and the screen lights up on its own every 1-20 seconds. It is draining the battery and waking me up at night. It happens when I am not moving and even if I'm not wearing the device.
Here is what I know and have tried
- It lights up regardless if im am still or if I'm moving, and turns on to whatever screen it was on before it went dark
- Auto wake is turned off
- it lights up for a few seconds and happens every 3 to 20 seconds
- I tried
-Turning ON dnd and sleep mode
-Turning OFF notifications
-Turning on button lock
-Unpairing fitbit, removing it from the fitbit app, turning off phone for 5 minutes, hard reseting fitbit, the reconnecting to phone& app
Is there a fix or do I need to exchange for a new one while still within the return policy

Hi there, @farmerdan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Inspire 3 is turning on by itself. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
As a first approach, I'd like to confirm that the "always-on" display is not turned on. To do so, follow the steps below:
If the above doesn't describe your issue, please try the steps below:
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I tried all of the steps mentioned:
Display is not always on, i synced my device, restarted the fitbit, and changed the clock face
but the issue persists.

@farmerdan Since all the steps you tried didn't work, you have an Inspire 3 and report that the screen is not working properly, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.
This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done. Click here to get access to it.

Marre, I also have the same issue with my Fitbit and have done all the above as well. I'm trying to tap the OFF HOURS button, but it will not turn the OFF HOURS on. It also wakes me as I'm turning over in bed, so this would be helpful to fix! Thank you!
