My Inspire 3 no longer receives notifications. The other settings do work and it does sync for steps, sleep, heart rate, etc. The Fitbit Android update was completed a few days ago. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the App on my Android cellphone several times; I have restarted my Inspire 3 while charged and not charging; I have tried to single out specific App Notifications, rather than "mirroring" my phone; I have unpaired from Bluetooth, and then re-paired; I have confirmed that all the settings on my cellphone are correct for Notifications. All of these I have done multiple times. I initially thought there was a problem with my Inspire 3, but this Forum shows that it is not just me. Can Fitbit please solve this problem? Additionally, I have successfully received all notifications in the past, with the Fitbit App constantly installed; but now when I turn off Bluetooth, then immediately turn it on and press the "Inspire 3" "Paired device," the following message appears: ""An App is needed to use this device," even though the App is present and has been updated.

I am the author of this comment. As of 11:02 am (EDT) today, my Inspire 3 came back to life and began sending Notifications. I have not had to restart or reinstall the App, so unless it stops Notifications again, my problem has been solved. I had checked for updates at numerous times during the day, and there were none. I hope everyone else with this problem has had a similar revival experience. Thanks, everyone.

charland.bob. Try the fix suggested by Bunnixo earlier in this thread. It worked for me and for others.

Some additional information that might help certain people. I haven't received any system or app updates and I've tried everything like others have stated. For me, the key was REPLACING my inspire 3 device in the app with a new device. This is done in the Fitbit app by selecting your Fitbit in the top left hand corner and then going to the add more devices button and selecting inspire 3. All I did was add again my EXISTING Fitbit device as a replacement device. Prior to this I had just reset the Fitbit app by clearing its cache and data but I'm not sure if this step is needed. I did have to set up my Fitbit device preferences again but it did immediately fix the notification problem. One additional thing I noted was that when I was pairing my device again with the app, I had to have my Fitbit charging (pairing wouldn't work without the charging cable plugged in).
Hope that helps.

I am having the same problem.. stopped working over a week ago. I have force closed, uninstalled, re installed, contacted help support and I am STILL not receiving notifications or vibrations for my WhatsApp messages. And, yes, I have checked that DND is not on. I am getting very frustrated as I quite often have to have my phone on mute and rely on the vibration to notify me. Vibration works for steps etc!! When will this be fixed?

When I kept replacing the device in the app I never had it plugged in and it worked just fine but you need to have an updated version to get it to work correctly

I have tried both of these. Still not getting notifications. My last correspondence with my case number on Nov. 6 said this issue is still unresolved.
I need the notifications. I have not had my Inspire 3 a year and feel like I am going to have to purchase a new watch. Disappointed in Fitbit. This issue has been going on 3 weeks for me.
