I had a message that the firmware could update to the new version (4.41 I think?) I did the update and now it won't sync. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting the Fitbit, connecting manually, bluetooth off and on, etc. It had been working perfectly fine since I got it last September with no issues at all. I heard there were bugs in this update. I have a Samsung with Android v.13 so it is up to date. I need to get this going again. Please help. Thanks.

I am having the same issue!! I didn't know this update had bugs in it! I would have never updated it.
I talked to one of my friends and she also can't get her Inspire 3 to sync either!!

Same here. Got the Inspire 3 a couple of days ago. Took me hours to connect it to the app then told me there was an update which I clicked on. Worked OK until today and now unable to link Bluetooth to app. Beginning to wish I'd not bothered with it!

I am having the same issue on my Fitbit charge 6 using an Android phone. It's only since the latest update that my sync has stopped working, which has made me late to messages because I have come to rely on my watch.
The only way I've found to temporarily fix is a phone restart, but it will happen again hours later. If I can get it to stay synced the majority of the day without a reboot it's a good day. I've done all the other usual things you mentioned as well as clearing cache and app data. I'm so annoyed this hasn't been addressed yet by Fitbit.

@Abadbrooke I think you should count yourself lucky that it will sync at all!! 🙂 I can't even get mine to connect!

I connected Support last night while no resolution.
I think its fair to mention I don't keep my device connected through Bluetooth all day. Neither do I sync everyday - usually every few days. And, obviously nothing since the update (like 2 weeks ago now!).
I have restarted my phone and restarted my Fitbit (all many times, mind you). As well as, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app and restarted my phone in-between! I even charged my Inspire all the way to 100% and tried to sync it with it connected to the charger.
I restarted my Fitbit while it was connected to the charger (this was suggested by the Support person, I had seen this in the troubleshooting documents but didn't think it would make a difference--spoiler-- it didn't).
The Support guy suggested and I go into the devices and "replace" my Fitbit with the same one. I started to do this but realized I didn't want to do that because it would lose my data AND I didn't think it would work. When I have my Bluetooth turned on my phone will see my Fitbit Inspire but it won't connect to it. So I didn't think removing my device and trying to re-add it would work at all and that it would only cause more issues. I started to replace it but thought I had backed out of doing so. Well, I just checked this morning and I have no Fitbit devices 😑
But I didn't know that last night and the Support guy asked me what the latest version of the app I had. He said the most recent version was 4.42. I said I had recently updated it but I checked and I had 4.41 (😑) and he was like, "Oh Please update the app!" I told him there was no update available in the Play Store to which he replied, that the update was to be available Tuesday, May 6th and it should be available soon. This was at like 11pm last night (which was Tuesday May 6th!)
So now, I'm left with no resolution and my Fitbit isn't connected as a saved device - so my data is lost.
I'm extremely frustrated. I have used a Fitbit for over a decade and I don't recall ever having an issue like this!

UPDATE:
I got my Fitbit to sync!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went to my Bluetooth settings. Under Saved Devices I found my Fitbit, clicked on the settings and had it Forget.
Then I went to Pair New Device and two Inspire 3s did pop up but I clicked on the newest one (the bottom one) and it actually connected to it!!!
😄😄😄
I hope this helps everyone!
