Inspire 3 stopped syncing

My watch stopped syncing.  I've been having issues since then update. When it started, I had to turn off my watch on and off maybe 2x per week, then it went to 4x per week, now it's every day. How do I remedy this issue? Any assistance in welcome and I like this product. I bought this as a Christmas present in December 2023. So the watch is less than 2 months old. I'd hate to have to lose money on a faulty product that I can no longer return or exchange.

Hi there, @FancyAnn. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is still not syncing despite the steps you've tried so far. I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, please confirm that you've tried all the steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Before trying the above, please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

I tried the above and it worked for 3 days. Then, unfortunately l went back to having the same issue. Shutting off my phone once per day to sync my data.

I am having the same issue and it is so annoying! My Fitbit used to be so easy to use and now it has just become a fairly worthless tool in my health toolkit. I have spent 45 minutes again tonight just trying to get it to sync and nothing is working. After about 8 years of solid commitment to Fitbits, I am about to search for a new device that is not part of the Fitbit group of products.
