Got my Inspire 3 a little less than a month ago. Been working great until yesterday it stopped vibrating with incoming calls and text messages. The notifications come through, it just doesn’t vibrate. It also vibrates for alarms and other alerts.
I read past community threads on this topic. I also reviewed all relevant settings in my app, phone, and Fitbit. Everything is up to date and I’ve turned off my phone and back on. Nothing is resolving the issue. Does it need the new firmware? Is that the issue?

I have had the exact same issue. Hoping someone has an answer. Customer Services didn't seem to know the answer..

Hi there, @hiker582 @Buckle671. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 stopped vibrating. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend restarting your Inspire 3 by following these steps.
If the issue persists, please see Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?
If the above doesn't work, may I know if you've tried resetting the notifications settings and setting up them again?

Pretty much the same issue here. Phone randomly stops sending notifications to my Inspire. Restart only solves the problem for a while. After a few days or weeks, issue returns. Any permanent fix would be great!

@SunsetRunner It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying the steps I've recommended above.
In addition to the steps I've recommended, please check if your Inspire 3 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:
If the above doesn't describe your issue, please see Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones and/or Why are notifications delayed or missing? depending on your phone.

Thanks for the advice. My fitbit is not in sleep mode. Just to clarify - NO settings have been changed. Notifications work flawlessly most of the time. Then it randomly stops working. Restarting my phone solves the issue - temporarily. After a few days, or weeks, notifications stop working again. This has been going on for a few months now.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for getting back and for the details shared in your last post, I understand.
As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.
To better assist you, may I know if you're getting any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working?
If you have an Android device, I'd recommend trying the following steps. Just keep in mind that depending on the phone you have, some of the settings might be different:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.

I have the same issues all the time - the only thing that fixes it is a restart, but eventually it happens again. I am never in DND or Sleep Mode, my Fitbit app is set to Always Vibrate and I'm not Mirroring my Phone (which is often in silent mode). Is there a long-term fix for this? It's annoying to always have to restart and/or reset to factory settings.
The above suggestions do not show up on my phone, which is compatible with Fitbit.

Thanks for the suggestions.
My phone is compatible. I don't have the exact settings options you list, but it was already set to NOT optimize Fitbit activity to save battery, and background activity is already allowed. Tried turning off the "start automatically" option. Don't know if it's the same as the you mentioned. Don't have the manual launch options.
We'll if this changes anything. Notifications were off again this morning, before I changed the settings. There is a message in the Inspire 3 settings in my fitbit app about this error every time it happens.

I can now report that this did NOT solve the issue. Today the notifications stopped working again. I have not done any other changes to any settings or my app, phone or fitbit (except enable GPS on my fitbit after it for unknown reasons suddenly was disabled).
Restarting the phone seems to be the only way to fix it, but it obviously only solves the symptomns, not the problem.
