Inspire 3 stopped working

Out of nowhere my Fitbit stopped working. After a shower is wouldn’t stop vibrating. It eventually died and I charged it with my computer to help reset it. The screen still won’t respond and my Fitbit will not update. I have tried everything! I forced restarted my phone, the app and the Fitbit. I turned the Bluetooth on and off. Unpaired and then paired the device with my phone again. Tried connecting it to the computer but with the new Google format I can’t see if anything synced. I am able to change the face of the clock so the Fitbit is still connected somehow but it will not swipe or update. I don’t know what else to do. Considering leaving the Fitbit brand after 10 years. Any help would be appreciated!

A warm welcome to the community @CassMack

Thank you for providing the information about the issue that you are experiencing with your Inspire 3. Sorry to know the difficulty.

I understand what you've done so far to get the device working again.

However, I'd like you to confirm that you tried the restart as indicated below:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds.
  3. Release the buttons. The tracker has restarted when it vibrates and the Fitbit logo shows up.

Hi ManuFitbit, this may not be the same issue, but I just cannot find any solution. HelpChat is closed; other related topic chats are all closed. I hope you can shed some light on how I can keep using my Fitbit after it was disconnected, since I needed to migrate my Fitbit account to a Google account. It was simply disconnected and not syncing.  Thank you for your insight.

Yes, I have tried this multiple times as well. No luck.

It's a real shame, isn't it?  I am disappointed that my 11-year Fitbit journey ends abruptly like this.  Sayonara!
