Inspire 3 turned off /not working

Hello,

My 2023 Inspire 3 has a dead screen for over a year now, but I've finally dug it out of the drawer and am trying to fix it. I've charged it fully and tried to restart it while plugged into the wall, and while the watch vibrates to indicate things are happening, the Fitbit logo doesn't appear, nothing happens. I've done this numerous times. My phone doesn't have an existing Bluetooth connection to the Inspire 3, so I can't connect, and don't know how to get the watch to be open to new Bluetooth connections with the screen dark.

Any help would be most appreciated..

Hi @pwtucker80!  Welcome to our community forums!

I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is not turning on.  I appreciate all the information shared.

  1. When you plugged it in to charge, did anything appear on the screen to indicate that it was charging?
  2. Are the lights on the back on?

At this point, please clean the contacts on the charging cable and the watch by following the steps in this article: How do I clean my Fitbit device? and once clean, perform a restart and connect it to the charging cable to see if it reacts when charging starts.

Thank you for the response. In answer to your questions:

1. Nothing appears on the screen when I plug it in to charge.
2. The lights on the back are on.

I'll clean the device as recommended, but since it's charging fine, I don't anticipate that making much of a difference. Will report back.

Hello,

I have cleaned both the Fitbit and the charging pins as instructed and
performed a restart but holding down the Fitbit button for 10+ seconds. At
roughly the ten second mark the Fitbit vibrated five distinct times, but
the screen remained black and unresponsive.

What can I do next?
