I have used an Inspire 2 for a little over a year. It still technically works as far as tracking and I can see all the data in the app, but like many others, the screen is blank after the last update so I can't see what time it is:(.
I have been offered a discount to buy a new device and the Inspire 3 seems to be the most affordable and probably does what I need. (Track info and tell me the time).
If I end up buying a new one, it would be nice to have a spare charger and band, but I understand that my extra parts from the Inspire 2 are not compatible with the Inspire 3. So, I am trying to determine if I should move to the Inspire 3 (using the discount) or buy an Inspire 2 (that is still being sold by retailers) that is less expensive and gives me a spare charger.
Support tells me that an Inspire 2 from a retailer will come with a new warranty, so I suppose that if I had an issue with the update on a new device, it would be replaced. Just curious if anyone else has had an issue with this. Is it replaced with another Inspire 2 or Inspire 3 or a different model altogether?

@JoyMP As far as general comments and recommendations go, I prefer Fitbit color screens to any of its monochrome screens. I wear a Luxe from time to time. I expect the Inspire 3 screen behaves like the Luxe screen. The difference between color and monochrome screens in sunlight is significant, really significant.
I was to make a specific comment about buying an Inspire 2 and a warranty. The Inspire 2 isn't available from the Fitbit Store. There is a link at the bottom of every page to Authorized Retailers. Be VERY careful if you decide to buy an Inspire 2 from Walmart or Amazon (possibly others). Both Amazon and Walmart are marketplace sites. Many of the items are sold by third party sellers. An item must say that it is shipped and sold by Amazon (or Walmart) to get Fitbit's warranty. Otherwise, you must buy a separate extended warranty from that site.
