just received Inspire 3 and connected to charge over an hour ago. there is nothing on the display - it s just black. Tipping twice on display diesn t work. It is not dirty and the the connection is correct....Have the feeling it s a broken tracker....any idea before I send it back??

Hello @Barboverthemoon and welcome to the Community. Did you try a different charging block or outlet? In my personal experience, a Fitbit will vibrate immediately if there is some battery charge and within a few seconds if the battery is dead.

Hi there, @Barboverthemoon. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I'm sorry to hear that your new Inspire 3 is not charging. I understand how you must be feeling, we're here to help!
If you still have the Inspire 3 with you, I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. Some new devices need to be charged even when they are fresh out of the box.
When it has had two hours, try restarting the Inspire 3. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
