Inspire 3 won't restart

Hi,

My wife's Inspire 3 was not responding to scrolling, so I rebooted it by holding both side buttons until the smiley face appeared. Unfortunately, it now won't start at all. If I hold both buttons for several seconds, the smiley face appears for a few seconds and then the screen goes blank. It's now completely useless. Can someone please help?

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear your wife's Inspire 3 is not responding to scrolling and won't start at all. 

Could you please try to manually sync the device : 

  1. With your Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app and select the Today tab MarioSFitbit_0-1741538633415.png.
  2. Tap and hold on the screen, then pull down until a progress bar appears at the top.
  3. Release your finger and wait for the progress bar to fill. 

Are you able to see the lights on the back of the pebble ? 

If the device is syncing, try to change the clock face following the steps shown here : How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hi Mario,

Thanks for responding. I have tried the first three steps above and I can see the green lights on the back flashing. However, the front of the device remains completely blank. If I install a new clock face, I can see a progress bar on the device, but there's still nothing on the screen when it finishes.

BTW I've found out that it;s actually an Inspire 2, if that helps.
