Inspire 3 won't stay connected to my phone

Bought an Inspire 3 about 2 weeks ago. The first week was great, worked well out of the box, did everything I wanted it to (sleep tracking, steps, vibrating silent alarm, telling time, good battery life). Second week in its constantly unpairing from my phone despite having both on me and it’s been resetting and the time gets messed up and I lose my alarms. I’m sad as it was perfect for my needs. It’s super disappointing since it worked perfectly for a couple of days. I’m wondering if it was the firmware update that I installed. I’ve reset the watch and the app on my phone multiple times without success. Can’t tell if I have a busted unit, or if I’m doing something wrong.

Sorry to hear.  I am a long time user of Fitbit devices  & app (over 5 years) and my Inspire 3 has been giving me the same problem this month (August 2025). I'm not sure if it was the recent app update that has caused the problem or if the "fix"  didn't go far enough or if the hardware /software requires a more advanced/updated version of Android. Hope to buy one soon. So I will know if it is Fitbit app, Fitbit device or phone. Will let you know. In the meantime, I have been resetting the device by plugging it in and holding the power button until logo and vibration happens. Then they stay in sync for a few days.
